MELLIS EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES and ÇANAKKALE ONSEKIZ MART UNIVERSITY representatives introduced the project outcomes at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of İzmir Democracy University. 56 participants attended the conference, including university students and academics.
ECOUNITY aims to bridge non-governmental organisations, municipalities, special provincial administrations and other local actors with universities within the scope of sustainable green development and research solutions for more sustainable financial, economic, and administrative practices.
At the conference, Assoc Prof. Dr Ufuk Gencel gave the opening speech and introduced Assoc Prof. Dr Erdal Eroğlu to discuss the importance of Green Transformation in Universities. Then, Dr Kendal Deniz introduced the project outcomes, including ECOUNITY Higher Education Curriculum, Animated and Expert Video Tutorials, SGD Guide and Action Plan and explained the project activities for data collection.
Elif Anda introduced the project website (https://www.ecounityeu.com/) and the ECOUNITY LMS platform (https://lms.ecounityeu.com/lms/) and displayed the blog articles, videos, chat rooms, and quizzes published in the course modules in 6 languages, including English, Turkish, Slovak, Polish, Croatian, and Romanian.
The event was closed by inviting the participants to ask their questions to the speakers, and after the Q&A session, participants explored the project website, project results, and the LMS platform through the QR codes shared. Also, a satisfaction survey was shared with the participants as a follow-up activity to assess the quality of the event.
