UAVET
The UAVET project is an international initiative designed to establish vocational standards and training resources for drone repair and maintenance technicians.
These sources include educational modules that cover technical skills such as flight controller cleaning, sensor calibration, and remote control troubleshooting. Occupational standards are detailed alongside specific legal requirements for airworthiness and certification within the European Union and Türkiye.
Additionally, several reports evaluate collaborative workshops where experts and educators gathered to refine the curriculum through task analysis and feedback. High participant satisfaction scores confirm the training materials and sessions effectively bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical mechanical application. Overall, the collection serves as a comprehensive professional guidebook for the next generation of electromechanical drone specialists.

BIOSHIELD
BIOSHIELD, officially titled “Novel Biotechnological Solutions in Climate Change Mitigation,” is a 24-month Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in Higher Education.
Led by Democritus University of Thrace (Greece), the BIOSHIELD consortium brings together five partner universities from Turkey, Slovenia, Greece, and Croatia, along with the educational technology enterprise Mellis Ed-Tech. The project aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industry needs by developing a tailored curriculum that highlights the role of biotechnology in climate change mitigation and disaster management.
BIOSHIELD responds to the growing demand for skilled professionals in fields such as genetics, biochemistry, and environmental science.
The project is implemented through a series of workshops, an online Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA), and pilot applications across partner institutions. A key innovation is the integration of design thinking and blended learning methodologies.
Expected outcomes include the “Biotech Student’s Guide to Future Projections” handbook, multilingual video tutorials, and biotechnology fairs designed to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry. Ultimately, BIOSHIELD aims to equip at least 80 undergraduate students with the transversal skills and technical expertise needed to develop sustainable innovations for the global bioeconomy.
